This song is sooo good!...been bouncin' to it everyday!

"We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey

(Ooh, ooh, sweet love, yeah)

I didn't mean it
When I said I didn't love you, so
I should have held on tight
I never shoulda let you go
I didn't know nothing
I was stupid, I was foolish
I was lying to myself
I could not fathom that I would ever
Be without your love
Never imagined I'd be
Sitting here beside myself
Cause I didn't know you
Cause I didn't know me
But I thought I knew everything
I never felt

The feeling that I'm feeling
Now that I don't hear your voice
Or have your touch and kiss your lips
Cause I don't have a choice
Oh, what I wouldn't give
To have you lying by my side
Right here, cause baby
(We belong together)

[chorus]
When you left I lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby, please
Cause we belong together
Who else am I gon' lean on
When times get rough
Who's gonna talk to me on the phone
Till the sun comes up
Who's gonna take your place
There ain't nobody better
Oh, baby baby, we belong together

I can't sleep at night
When you are on my mind
Bobby Womack's on the radio
Saying to me "If you think you're lonely now"
Wait a minute
This is too deep (too deep)
I gotta change the station
So I turn the dial
Trying to catch a break
And then I hear Babyface
I only think of you
And it's breaking my heart
I'm trying to keep it together
But I'm falling apart

I'm feeling all out of my element
I'm throwing things, crying
Trying to figure out
Where the hell I went wrong
The pain reflected in this song
It ain't even half of what
I'm feeling inside
I need you
Need you back in my life, baby

[chorus]
When you left I lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby, please
Cause we belong together
Who else am I gon' lean on
When times get rough
Who's gonna talk to me on the phone
Till the sun comes up
Who's gonna take your place
There ain't nobody better
Oh, baby baby, we belong together, baby

[chorus]
When you left I lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby, please
Cause we belong together
Who am I gonna lean on
When times get rough
Who's gonna talk to me
Till the sun comes up
Who's gonna take your place
There ain't nobody better
Oh baby, baby We belong together

Hey y'all!

I had another fun and relaxing weekend!  Being outside was amazing!  My first rollerblade excursion of the year was something new...  My friends and I decided to go on the restricted golf cart trails, since, there's no golf right now.  It was better because there was nobody else on it.  We had so much freedom, we didn't have to worry about bikers coming from behind us or ppl on the trail ahead of us.  It was great!

We had our own little bbq goin', thanks to J for cleaning the bbq and letting us stay at his place.  Thanks to K Chan and Max for buying the sausages and pork chops!  Kev did an alright job cooking I guess...he's so lucky he didn't burn down the house...lol.  I don't bbq, so he did a good job.  J also provided his Jacob juice for our pork chops, which was sooo good!  Thanks J!

Badminton afterwards was fun too!  The whole day was just pure fun and jokes.  It's so nice to have some jokers around like Max, K Chan and Lis.  I hope everyone had fun!  It would have been nice to squeeze in that movie, but it's all good.

Ok, time to get my ass in gear again.  Linux is done with!  Yay!  Now to finish off the rest of my courses.  Off to the library I go!

Feeling disappointed right now...    I did so crappy on my exam today...  Frickin' Linux !  $#%!

Partly my bad though, cause I went downtown on Saturday to buy the rest of my textbooks and I ended up spending a lot of time at Eaton Centre...  I was supposed to go to the library afterwards, but it was already late by the time I got back.  Anyways, I did the best I could to study at home the rest of the night though...

On Sunday, I slept in...and it was another muggy day...I did the best I could to study at home once again...  I just wasn't getting this stuff, nothing was sinking in...and there was so much to remember...

On Monday, I tried do some lab exercises at school, but things were just not working out...  I got frustrated, but I got some help and carried on studying...  My exam was today, so I was stressin'...

Anyhow, I passed for sure, but it's going to bring my mark down majorly.  I wasn't going to settle for anything less than a 90 in each course...  But after this exam...I don't think I'll get a 90...unless...I aced my project!  I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.

Oh wells...I'll be down for awhile, but I'll get over it.  You win some you lose some...  ...damn, and I was winning a lot too!    I'll just take whatever I can from this experience and move on.  Maybe some badminton this weekend will cheer me up.

Aw shoot, I didn't pick up my Elektra DVD today with a free comic book at Future Shop...  I hope they still have some comic books left tomorrow...if not, I'm not gonna buy it.

What a wet weekend...
I enjoyed last weekend a lot more...

Last weekend, I went up to Waterloo to play in the SOTF badminton tournament, but my partner didn't show up.  Therefore, I didn't get to play badminton, however, the small gym was free, so I got to play basketball!!!  I played for hours and so many games!  I had so much fun!  I drained so many 3's, rejected 2 ppl, made all my fade away shots, stole 2 balls, and won most of the games I played.  It's amazing how well I played considering I haven't played in over 3 months.  It was awesome!  I was tired after, but it was all worth it!

The tourney was on Saturday, but I decided to go up on Friday after rushing a lot of stuff that I had to do.  My parents were away, so I had to make sure the house was cleaned and all the chores were done before they got back.  I wanted to leave Sunday for my homework and get everything done on Friday, but I ditched some of the chores to go up early and party.  I finished whatever I could and left some time to make some cupcakes before I went up.  I also went to dim sum with my sisters and their friends and boyfriend's.  If I hadn't gone to dim sum, things wouldn't have been so rushed, but it all worked out and I had a great time.

The drive up to 'loo was so beautiful and there was hardly any traffic, which was rare.  We had mah jong, poker, movies, some WoW-ing and an easter egg hunt that night.  Accompanied by great food for the potluck, homemade pizza's with loads of toppings of all kinds of stuff, brownies, ribs, salmon, cheesy mushrooms, and my cupcakes.

As mentioned above, we had the tournament (I played bball instead) on Saturday.  I played so long that I missed lunch, so I decided to get some McD's...I got the Beef  'N Provolone Deli Sandwich, it was my first time trying their deli sandwiches and it was very yummy.  Afterwards, I hung around and watched some of my friends play their badminton games.  They all had some good games, but only Max and Lis came out with medals for the C Flight in Mixed Doubles Champions.  Congratulations!

It was a long day...ppl couldn't leave to get dinner cause the tournament was running behind in schedule, so Anh and I helped some friends get some McD's to fill their hungry stomaches.  Yep, it was my second time going to McD's...  I was craving for a sundae anyways, so I didn't mind driving there again.

I left the tourney a little early and went back to The Gatehouse and played Scrabble with Adrian and Ka.  I was so kicking their butts until the very last minute when Ka got 38 pts off this word she's been saving throughout the whole game!  It was a lot of fun though!    After the Scrabble game we met up with Alan and Mun at Pho Dau Bo (Vietnamese) for a late dinner and the rest of the night was spent partying at The Gatehouse.  We also celebrated Gary's bday one month in advance...lol.  It was decided last minute but it was was probably the best time since some ppl will not be around during his real bday.  The cakes were so good!  I even took half of Kathy's cake cause she didn't feel like eating so much.  Mmmm!  Yummm!

Anyways, lookin' forward to more good times!  See ya!
